SK8, Parkour, and Sunrise

Yes, I know, I'm a dork. But I finally got around to snapping a profile picture of Hideo, and it makes me happy.

With a Tech Deck hand board, no less!



Also, I've become very interested in Parkour lately, specifically as regards Hideo's character. It's very reminiscent of some of the scenes I've written involving Hideo, and also of the situations that might arise in that world. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, check out YouTube. I'm also fascinated by mountain boarding, but less so than freerunning.

And last (but not least), there was a nice sunrise this morning and I snapped a few pictures from in front of my apartment when I got home from work.

Great pix--teh board with Hideo is great, and the sunrise pix are so pretty!
Checked out the freerunning. Interesting stuff. Reminds me of the next-to-last Bond pic (not the most recent one) only there I suspect they had padding to land on, and clearly on that YouTube vid they did not. No wires, no nuthin'. Looks like useful stuff to evade cops with, or to fight urban guerillas either one--I could see the military being interested in it.
Also could see it being extremely usefult oc haracter slike Hideo.
But I bet it makes those boys' mamas' hair turn white!!

Yes, the chase scene at the beginning of Casino Royale had a freerunner in it (the bomb maker Bond was chasing). It's actually showing up in lots of movies recently.

KYA! Sunrises with deciduous trees! Oh, how I missed them.

Hideo is all like "Watch me balance, bitches" and that is awesome XD.
