I had fun with this one, although the cats were really getting in the way - they kept knocking Darryl and Talon over by rubbing up against them.

The masks are from Heisejinyao. Darryl's outfit is the newly-arrived (yesterday!) Dollheart LE "Dark of Life." The first shot isn't edited - that's what happens when you cover the flash with your finger. XD

Darryl despises formal functions. Thankfully, Talon's very good at tricking him into enjoying himself at them. At least a little bit.

Nice photographs. And good job with not ending up with cat hair all over those nice crisp all black outfits! (My cat cat would have been like "Stuff I can potentially break AND shed hair all over? Score!")

My camera's flash hates the finger over the flash trick and generally just takes a frame of solid black. It does like the "couple layers of kleenex" or "scrap of white muslin" over the flash trick.

The flash on my camera is strong enough that my finger - or even the side of my hand - over the flash doesn't really do a whole lot to cut it back, it just turns it red. ^_^;;

No kidding! The cats are a ginger and a white. Cat hair is the bane of all things black. XP

These are great. The masks, they are strange and cool. I'm especially fond of photo #2. The depth of field stuff you achieved there...!

Ha ha! It does look like Talon's dipping Darryl in that last shot, doesn't it? XD Even though Darryl's the one leading. I'm amused.

Yes, I have discovered variable focus settings on my camera. 8-D Oh, the joys of slowly teaching myself how to navigate the manual options...!

These pictures are all so much brighter on my laptop screen than they are here on the work PC's. Pfft. You can't see half the detail that was visible on my screen, with them all dark like this. Hope they're not totally opaque for you guys, too.

REally nice shots. I too love the depth of field work. Very cool marks, and the expressions in the masks are great. I love their hands here, you get to see the lovely artowrk, how convincing those fingers are.

I'm glad the fingers came across! It looked like Darryl and Talon were almost twining their fingers together, but I had trouble catching that on the camera. ^_^

Sometimes I feel like you over feminize Darryl, then again... who am I to judge the gender qualities of your family? Eh? LoL. I love these pics, especially the use of color in the first photo posted. ^-^ See you tonight.

I'm really amused by the fact that everyone is reading Darryl as feminine in this. He's the one leading! Maybe that's not as obvious as I wanted it to be, because of the photo angles and the poor lighting. But Darryl is the one leading. You can tell by their hand positions.
