I wrote a crapload of words last night. Like...somewhat over 3000. And I saved them. And then I saved them again. And I also saved them frequently while writing them. And then I closed the program and pulled the memory card out of my mini-PC, and stuck it into a reader and put it into the computer at work to double-check the word count and update my NaNo profile...
And they were gone. The computer insisted that the file was still at my earlier word count. And the two scenes that I had written were nowhere to be found.
...I am not pleased.
