Sabik Cyborg Arm and Cleaning

The Sabik Cyborg arm that I bought arrived today. **wicked grin** Yes, you read that right. Just the arm. Someone who wanted the doll didn't want the cyborg parts, and sold them to me. I've already strung them and slapped them onto a spare torso I've got lying around. I'll be modifying the ball joint a bit, so that it'll fit into a doll other than Sabik. I have...plans.

In other news, I decided to clean my room today. I started the process. Will continue tomorrow. This may take a week or more.

Yes, my room is that bad. I don't have any storage space, at all. So most of the mess is piles of books and stacks of school papers. It takes a while to sort.

In other other news, I now have a new job. My hire is still provisional, as I have to pass a tox screen and TB test tomorrow, but I've no doubt I'll be fine. It pays more than my current one, and doesn't involve hamburgers.

I get a badge. A cool uniform. Lots of keys. Unfortunately, the tazer was just a rumor.

Yes...I am going to be a security guard at the local hospital. This is like being a bouncer, except my drunks and druggies get locked into observation units, and there's no music.

Oooh so you did find the arm to buy awesome! I saw your wtb and never saw if you found one congrats! That arm is sooooo awesome! Also congrats for the new job! Is it nights like the last one or is it days or different hours etc? Also how are you feeling? Up for a visit sometime yet? ^^ Must hear about some of these plans of yours.......hehe

I'm feeling better. I'm not sure yet ow the schedule for this new job is going to work out - I'll be doing multiple shifts, it seems. However, right now I'm transitioning, so I'm working TWO jobs, so...I have no life. What little life I have is spent doing room cleaning.

We'll have to see if we can arrange a mini-meetup or something.

That will be an excellent job for you, especially since you'll be good to converse with others as necessary. (Occasionally hospital patients and patrons do have questions and it's nice to have a sincere someone to speak to about them.)

Plus...Well, with your slightly kamikaze-edge behavior about protecting others, this ought to be a nice, calm outlet.
