Hunter Preview

Several of my heads are currently out for faceups, and I just got preview pictures of Hunter. He's looking just how I had envisioned him. Now if only I could find him a more suitable wig...

Something in a fur wig that's slightly lighter, shorter, spikier, perhaps?

I've tried several fur wigs, and haven't found one that works yet. Also tried hand-tying my own wig, but that was a bust. I may end up having to try my hand at making another rabbit fur wig, then styling it and seeing how that turns out.

The shorter hair on a something like a brown rabbit fur wig would look good, I think.

Yeah, and I have made rabbit fur wigs before. Though it might be a tad bit soft for what I want. I'll have to check out other kinds of fur, see if any of them have stiffer hairs.

You know, I'm not usually much for facial hair on teh dolliehs, but... Cifr + that lipline = YES GOD YES.

I tend to either REALLY hate facial hair on dolls, or REALLY love it. It all depends on how well it's done, though some sculpts just can or cannot work it. Thankfully, I think this artist has done a good job. I wanted him to look a little bit scruffy, like he tends toward scruffiness but has to keep himself moderately well-groomed because of his work. She captured that beautifully.
