Tuition Reimbursement FTW

Woot.

So I was all excited when JitB revamped their stores, because they also changed a lot of their internal crap and added tuition reimbursement. YAY! Then I was annoyed because I read over the forms my boss gave me and saw that they require that employees work there for two MORE years after graduation, or it all has to be paid back (WTF?).

So I didn't do it.

Last night, my coworker and ex-playbuddy-boyfriend-thing gave me some NEW forms that told a different story. Apparently, the two-years thing is only for managers and assistant managers. I'm merely a lowly shift leader. That means my tuition reimbursement is limited to $600 per half a year, and $3200 for my lifetime, but that there is NO limitation on employment and the like.

**grin widens**

I put the paperwork in the mail today. Should be about 2-3 weeks before it finishes going through, but I'm looking at about $500 (this is taxable) dumped into my bank account. Happiness and joy.

Sometimes, I think fate or karma or something must really, really love me. Wonder what I was in my past life...I must've either been pretty damned selfless or suffered like a motherfucker. **snicker**
