Oh, yes! On Saturday it had its first meal - right on schedule. Four aphids and a large fruit fly. On Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday it ate the internal parts (minus intestinal tract) of a medium-sized superworm each day. (I cut the worms' heads off, squeezed their insides out, and then removed the intestinal tract before hand-feeding the rest to it.) Late Tuesday night, the flightless fruit fly culture I ordered arrived, and it has been munching on those ever since. I'm still hand-watering it, though, since I'm not 100% sure it has figured out drinking yet, and I don't want to take chances with dehydration.
Oh man oh man I wanted to comment on your first post about him when it went up but school killed me. So I am commenting now to say that this little critter is just beyond amazing. I'm so glad to hear he's eating and doing well!!!
