Was just sort of expecting them after I caught them mating every day for a week. ^_^;;

No, they're not ready to be parents, but no anoles ever are - they eat their young if given the opportunity, and will eat the eggs as well if they're in the mood. Hence needing to put the egg in a separate container. But I'M certainly excited (and hopefully ready), even if this wasn't in the plans.
