Wren has been researching social norms again.


Probably due to some offhand comment by Rupali to someone else - a secretary, perhaps - within the admittedly long
range of Wren's hearing, if previous experience is any indicator.


She is quite insistent that the appropriate birthday behavior between women in American culture is for a gifter to
provide the "birthday girl" with "beefcake."


Of course, she did have to look up "beefcake," as this particular slang usage is apparently somewhat localized
and not something she was already familiar with.


But once she figured out what it referred to, I was rather predictably "volunteered."


Not that I mind.


I've been told that I'm a fairly decent example of beefcake, in fact.


Happy Birthday. I hope you enjoyed this, because if you didn't Wren is probably going to try to find some other
man who will strip down and let her take naked pictures of him, and I would rather prefer that didn't happen.
