Interstitial Zone

Playing around in the interstitial space at the hospital after work today. I've had the image of one of my dolls crawling around in there for...a while. I've been meaning to do this for over a year - ever since I first saw the place during my orientation of the various mechanical rooms at the hospital - but I've never had the opportunity until now.

nagasvoice, I didn't initially intend these photos to freak Dance out, honest. Though I'll admit that I was maybe thinking a bit of the infrared "vision" of pit vipers when I was messing with the curves on this first shot.
















And these ones are just for greenjudy since I've told her so much about the interstitial space. ^_~

Well, Hideo herself is a rather experimental proposition, you know. She's version 9, and the first functional version her creator managed to wrangle. Versions 1-8 were...less than operative.

I was admiring Hideo's posing again tonight. The one open hand looks like it's signaling to the rest of her team, "come ahead," in some shots, and in others it appears poised to grab the gun out of the back hand and aim it in a new direction. That kind of coordination between the hands is just so cool looking. I love that whole smooth rolling effect.
