Ming Ming!

I got a kitten today!

She's beautiful...merle coat, MAUVE eyes...

She's three months old (born April 7, 2005) and is already litterbox trained. She still needs shots and spaying, but she's in excellent health.

She's just what I've needed for a while now. After I lost Silver to the neighbor's dog, I wasn't sure how long it would be till I was ready for another pet. But then I saw this "Free Kittens" sign, and stopped, and...

She was very nervous at first, but she's eating and drinking fine now, and seems to be settling in a bit more.

I named her "Lady Ashk" after the Fae Lady of the Woods in Anne Bishop's Tir Alainn Trilogy. We called her "Ash" for short. HOwever, that wasn't really sticking, so I changed it to "Ming" ("Ming-Ming" is Chinese for "kitty kitty," and is what my mom calls her....my sister calls her "Mingy").

So...Ming Ming is here!
