Photoshopping

As I mentioned in another post recently, I've been playing around with lighting a bit, trying to figure out what works and what doesn't. Pleased with the results of that, I've also started to use my knock-off of Photoshop (Paintshop Pro) to try editing my pictures a bit, something I've never really done before.

A few shots of Wren catching Rafe unawares. Personally, I'm not surprised he surrendered - I wouldn't want to catch a palm-strike to the face, either!

It's awesome when results are sexy. :3 Be hard for them not to be when they involve Wren though.... That first one is especially dramatic for some reason. But oh man, in the last couple? I love her hands so much<3

Good experimentation.

This.

This is an excellent trend.

More of this would be good. You and lighting are clearly super pals.

These are cinematic.

@_@

We need to do stuff like this with Strangeways.

**grin** I'm glad you think so! I've been a bit uncertain about using the computer to manipulate photos beyond basic cropping and resizing, partly because of my lack of experience with it and partially because of some strange notion that "untampered" photography is somehow better. I'm trying to disabuse myself of that idea; it's not better, it's just different.

I'm hoping what I learn with this experimentation can help us with Strangeways, yes.
