Looks like it's a very thin coat of the darker resin. Probably prone to scratching in the joints, and obviously can't be sanded. But it sure is a beautiful color, isn't it?

Well, I guess that answers one question I've had...

side-note, I've found some very odd pix that remind me of Jian and Wren. Also, some of the girls in the furs remind me of the Dark Wall pic that mght suggest Dance's genetic parents.

I'll admit to being a bit weirded out by some of the semi-fetishistic poses and outfits (at least, in connection to Wren and Jian - as a mere observer, I think that most of them are awesome), but one of those models is actually the woman who, if I were ever to decide to get a Minimee head for Wren and Darryl, I'd probably use as the base: Du Juan. I just think there's something in her attitude, her bearing, the shape of her jaw, that I could easily transform into them - just make her mouth a bit wider, maybe enlarge her eyes slightly, and BAM. My altered duo.

Sadly, the Minimee heads are so hit-and-miss (I think I've only ever seen four sculpts that I liked, and Drin is one of those) that I can't bring myself to do it (so far). Maybe someday I'll give in to temptation and give it a whirl.

There was one, fairly far into it, where he's standing on a bridge against a green background that reminded me of Jian, too.
And yeah, the fetishist poses were all...quite odd. Deliberately cryptic. Reminded me of The Matrix type thinking.
If they've got censorship in China, it's not being handled as simple or straightforward.
